i used to go by starcatcher77 (first minecraft username) which was because of the series of children's books peter and the star catchers, but i grew out of it when i was 13 or so. i liked pastel colors, but i wanted to be unique so i added an extra l. this turned out to be a mistake, because in most places, 'pastell' was already claimed. so naturally, i kept adding additional ls until it let me sign up. this lead to every site having a varying number of ls. at one point, my minecraft username was 'pastelllll' which is ridiculous. so eventually i decided to change everything to 'pastellexists' because it's universal and no one has taken it.
